Well the pic turned out bad. Don't use the crapy camera when braggin about your boa. Anyway my female columbian red tail. My first pic ever but there are many more to come. I'll improve the quality cause this one kinda sucks. She looks 1,000 times better in real life any tips on how to make it look better. I just got a kodak EasyShare DX4330 I'll take some better pics with it on thursday.

Re: How about a good looking female columbian
Honestly, that is a good picture.
Here is the absolute, guaranteed, sure-fire way to take the perfect picture.
Give Up!
I have tried over and over to get the quality to show in the photos, and it just don't do it. I have developed the best solution for me and although it works pretty well it is still difficult to show the true colors.
The primary thing you need is good light source. Bright light sources. Then get as close to the boa as you can. Then keep the camera as perfectly still as you are able. These procedures help quite a bit, but there is not a perfected solution.
To gain knowledge is good, but to share knowledge is wise

Re: How about a good looking female columbian
I find I can reproduce my boas colour well with my camera, I think the most important thing is good natural lighting, once you use the flash you will lose all the natrual colour of your boa, I use a fujifilm finepix 6900, I do a lot of photography so I can justify the cost, but since I purchased it the prices of cameras has fallen a lot, so good quality should not be hard to achive, lighting is definatly the key, happy snaping. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
