I can't breed Boas but.....

Hi All.....Here's a little something I do in my spare time. This is a piece of slate I found on our property, and the project is in the very first stages of etching.

If you recognize the outline, Clay gave me permission to use the photo of his Delila.

Mrs. Z was gracious enough to hand deliver this slate to me. It is absolutely AWESOME!!!!!

Mrs Z and the kids stopped by for a "snake shack" visit and got to check out all the boas. Even Delilah, who the slate's image is taken from. And Romeo, the narrow saddled fine line boa. Barely got him away from Mrs. Z. I had to check twice the next day to make sure I still had him.. s30.gif

Anyway, this is a big honor for me, because things that are handmade are worth a million times more than anything that can be bought. And I am proud of this! s9.gif

I've been drawing since high school, when my art teacher discovered an ability. He helped fine tune and gave pointers, lots of pointers.

The stones are something new. We have a lot on our property, and one day it just happened. With the help of my hubby, I should have a web site up soon.
