I noticed that most people would suggest not to live feed snakes, especially unsupervised. That they usually would suggest to feed them frozen or thawed food. But I was wondering how you freeze them? Do you just put them in a freezer or something? If so, how long?

    Re:Feeding

you buy them frozen then thaw them out... never feed frozen it will hurt the snake....
Or you kill them and then freeze them... don't just put them in the freezer... You can kill them by wacking them over a hard surface or by putting them in a co2 chamber...
    I hope this helps...

[/quote]yea its the best thing for your snakes if you feed them f/t rats. feeding them f/t helps keep bugs and other stuff rats carry out of your snake.plus your snake doesnt have to kill its food.it also help keep your snake from being aggrisve.mine used to look at it for a few secs at the f/t and gulp it down.like red said wack over da head or co2. if i recall right 3-4 days in the freezer should kill the germs and stuff on the rat..
