how do I find out how much it is to ship an 8 foot red tail and what companies do this?

Welcome to the forum.
Ok as for your shipping question.. If you want to get techy, there is only one way allowed that is Delta Dash, through delta airlines. Its counter to counter. For a snake that big, that may be your best bet. Not the cheapest, but the best. Now alot of folk do ship through Airborne expressm UPS, and fedEx. These companys do not allow shipping snakes, so some people will leave the box blank, (That idea I hate, the baby will be thrown around) or they will put something like fish, or turtles on the box. Just don't get caught...
Make sure your baby is packed in a pillow case first that is tied and taped so it can't get loose. If you are doing delta dash, get a animal shipping container.
