    Re: building a cage

Pine, oak, and melamine are good solutions for custom cages. While melamine is cheap and nice, it is also pretty heavy. Oak is very nice but it is not cheap. Pine is pretty cheap and works well. 4x2x2 or 6x2x2 is good sizes for adult boas. I have a three level oak cage I just finished; just need to add vents and stain it and get the sliding glass doors installed and it will be done, I will post pictures of it soon. What price range or you in? Have you tried Precision? They go for about $185 shipped for a 4'er. There is others, but if Boaphiles are to much, the others are definately to much. ;D
