Picture of Mite's???

Hey guy's..... I've been doing a little searching but I am not half as good on the internet as some of you so I wanted to know if I could get your guys' help? I am looking for a picture of a mite????? I have read ton's about them and I flip out if I see 1 little bug in the water of my snakes. I have this really good microscope that I look at these bugs in great detail. But I never know if it's mite's......... Thanks for the help!!!!

i have only seen mites once, but if you can picture like a dear tick, but about 5 tims smaller and colored dark red or black, have EIGHT legs, and look EXACTLY like a mini tick. Hope this helps... :-\

Thanks Randy, thats a good description. Are they smaller than a flea? I'm gonna keep looking........

uhh, i think they are either the same size or a little bit smaller, i wanna say almost the same size ;D
