HI,
I usally buy from
[ftp]http://www.bigappleherp.com/[/ftp]
I have four of the following thermostat's they work well and aren't expensive.

place the probe 1 inch from the floor to be sure your readings are what the snake is.
They also have some excellent heat sources i have used the desert ray, infared heat pads similar to pro-pads at 1/4 the cost,[ftp]http://www.bigappleherp.com/Pages/Product/118100.html#descriptionLink[/ftp]
and they have that heat tape everyone likes. The cage below has two overhead heat mats and two large cobra mats under the floor of the cage all tied into one thermostat at around total wattage of 350 watts. this cage uses alot of heat because of all the plexi glass it will be replaced in the future.

I ve had some problems with Zoo med heat pads over heating and they heat up faster than many heat pads.so dont mix cobra and Zoo med in one cage.
If you use a uth in your cage be sure the are all the same type or company and wattage. to prevent hot spots and have a thermostat in the loop.
here's one in action its controlling two che and a uth at the same time.
never exceed the max wattage for the thermostat i have this one at 275 watts (2 one hundred watt che's and a 75 watt cobra mat.) its only about 1/2 the max load it can handle. it over three years old going strong,, and you can see some of that insulation i use on all my cages to help hold heat it has a silver side and black side, I put the silver up cause I didn't want to see the lettering of the manufacter thats on the black side.
everything you do to save heat helps lower the electric bill I use that insulation stuff under tanks cut to fit behind walls, floors over all my cages it really helps. Makes your cage like an ice chest to hold heat. The plexi glass cage has it under the floor over the top and behind the back of the cage all trimmed neat a pretty so you can't see it.

I have the same thermostat and have been quite pleased with the performance. It is controlling my CHE and UTH and the temps in the cage have been pretty constant.
I got it from Big Apple Herp but can't remember what I paid for it..but I believe it was under $30.
