  • Do Boa's age "Physically"?

    Hey all...

So, when my Boa reaches 20+yrs old will she have grey hair,
wrinkly skin & require a walker? Do Boa's physical appearance
change a considerable amount as they age?

LMAO!!!! Yes, boas change physically as they age. From what I've seen on this site, they tend to get darker colors as they get older. I'm assuming they will probably slow down on their eating habits as well.

        Re: Do Boa's age "Physically"?

        Hi,
I know someone who has a 20 + plus year old boa, the owner says that the past couple years its been loosing alittle weight not as alert or active. Many animals age gracefully and then just sort of shut down with many different system failures. That biological clock thing. They say if you over feed a boa they can die from organ failure in as few as 6 years. Most should live well past 20 .
