Pre Killed mice

Hey all! Thanks for all the info on my previous question. I have a ball python and to go from a snake who never stuck to one that did was a little crazy but he hasn't struck since. Just been taking it slow with him. Letting him get used to me and me used to him. Now on to my question. I have been feeding my ball frozen mice. Buying them then freezing them. What are some other ways I can kill them without freezing them? I am a little busy and it gets to be a pain when I have to wait for them to thaw. Just looking for some ideas on new way. Thanks! :

I would go with f/t rats... it will kill off all of the parasites in the rats... Well most...
Some of the other ways to kill a rat is to smack its head on some hard surface like a desk or floor...
You also can make a gass chamber so to speak... just some dry ice and water in the bottom.... Put the rats in and they fall asleep and die... This is the way the f/t rat dealers do it...
You also can take a wood dowl and put it right behind the rats head and push down and foward this will sever the spinel cord and the rat will die will lil' too no pain...

8) Me i just use the heavy handle end of a butter knife and put the prey on the counter and wack it on the back of the neck s36.gif wait a min to make sure its dead and use um that way.. big rats take 3 wacks..LOL!! b27.gif I have no prob killing prey items for my babies.. eeeeeeeee mean evil me!! cwm23.gif
