According to every care guide, BCI grows to 6-9ft and BCC 10-12 ft and twice the weight of BCI. I have never seen a BCC over 10ft but I've seen BCI over 10ft. Actually I've never seen a BCC over 8ft. Could somebody clear this up?

Re: Confusion about boa size
HI,
I think it depends on the parents, and the care and feeding that may occur during its growth phase.
Another thing I ve noticed is that most Boa breeders like the reall big girls for breeding proably have larger clutches or numbers of healthy boa births. Just breeding only really large BCI females is going to increase the size of that species with time more of the genEtic stuff.
Here's some shortuct to post about BCI and BCC ..I know the boaphile has a couple realy big girls.. hehe
Big BCC"S

and finally in closing I haven't seen to many people with boa's over 6 years' old they can live up to 30 years, makes you wonder what happens to all those older boa's... Proably put downcause they are to big.. :P :'(
