I don't really know of anyone who recommends keeping your humidity that high on a regular basis. There may be times when a higher humidity level is required, ie: troubled shed, RI, etc. But on average, I believe most (myself included) keep their humidity around 60-65%.

BRB's are a different story however, they do need a higher humidity level, especially when they are younger.

The best reference you will find is the Ultimate Care Guide. It's listed on the left side of the page. Check it out.

thanks, I just checked out the ult care guide and it's dead on. It's reco is what I've been keeping mine at. That one care guide I stumbled on threw me off guard. didn't think it made sense.

That care guide seems a little off. A 95 degree hot spot seems high (I keep mine at 90), a night time temp drop isn't necessary for boas, and the humidity is WAY too high. 50-60% is fine, 75-90% is only for Epicrates, not bci or bcc. Also, they say nothing about feeding f/t, they just warn not to leave a rat in the cage too long because it can injure the snake.
