okay, so i got my first boa in october after wanting one for about 10 years (ever since i got to handle a 5-6 foot female b.c.i that the girl i worked with was boarding at our store while she moved). i must say i am utterly in love with my boa... i handle him 3-4 times a week (and get all disappointed when i have just fed him and can't)
i have handled and dealt with larger snakes a fair bit, as well as having 4 ball pythons too.
my problem is... i found a beautiful anery male boa on a breeders website, and i am in absolute LOVE. i have no interest in breeding boas, its just a bit much to bite off for me, so i don't mind having two males... i'm pretty much set on getting him... but I don't know if i'm biting off more than i can chew by having two snakes that have 7 foot potential...
i guess i'm just wondering how you folks with more than one large boa deal with all that it entails-- or if you have any advice?
i'm not concerned about feeding or housing... or handling for that matter...
how do you stop yourself from getting more? LOL I need to stop at 2... but do you think its too soon for me to consider getting another baby?
sorry for the schizophrenic post... LOL
