[Housing] Flexwatt Cord - Anyone use it?

I just saw this on bigappleherp

I'm thinking this might be really nice for people using glass tanks. It can cover a much better area compare to a UTH. It may even help with ambient temps, which is why i'm considering it myself.

Has anyone used it before?

I think a great majority of us use flexwatt. It's on all my boaphiles. It will help a little with ambient temps but not a whole lot (well I guess it depends on the area covered) but it is a good heating source with a themostat. I have no complaints about it.

I didn't watch the video but I assume its the same thing or there'd be some copyright issue

I think you will find its the most widely used heat source there is you tube videos about it as well, but for glass you may wanna check out some other options, like under tank heaters that are appropriate for the animal, check out reptile basics.com
