What is a blizzard boa? Does anyone have info on what the genetics are supposed to be. And what is a blizzard supposed to look like? How will we know when the snake comes?

from what I ve read about the blizzard is the same genetics of a snow EXCEPT instead of using an anery boa type1 the blizzard comes from a anery boa type 2 which I beleive comes from a central american anery boa. I thought about trying to make these but I have read that the blizzard is not yet produced alive. still born on all attempts. there something in the genetics that doesnt work. so I have read.

I may be wrong but isn't it a Type II anery albino? Like a snow but with Type II anery instead of Type I? I know with corn snakes that is how it works and I believe the name is used in the same way with boas.

This picture isn't a Blizzard by the way, it's a dwarf central american albino. He was produced by Kahl from the blizzard project but isn't a blizzard.

I find it hard to believe that there will be any difference between a snow and blizzard other than genetics.

a blizzard is a snow boa made with the type II anery gene... and to my knowledge there has never been a live one... or if there has it hasn't lived very long....

Yes you are correct it is not a blizzard. I was just about to post that it is a product of a breeding of 2 double het blizzards (Mexican anry type 2) or something like that...oh boy I really need to start doing my home work on genetics; to me it seems rather complicated.

you wouldnt get any snows anrey and albino are resecive genes so both parents have to have them you would get normals dh for sharp snow and no they wouldnt be blizzards like stated before blizzards are type II anery snows

sharp snows, yes... There are some out there for sale right now with about a $5k price tag

I believe sharp snows are refered to as "Avalanch Boas".
I might be wrong but I think that's what I read.

an avalanche boa is a moonglow arabesque and Frank Martin has one for sale for $9k if he hasn't already sold it, lol
