Im building my own melamine cage now and i just want to know what kind of heat to use for under the cage......

I currently use Flexwatt with a rheostat and an A-419 controller. I am currently considering other options such as radiant heat panels. If you use Flexwatt, I do not recommend the clips that come with it. Use solder but be sure to get all the coating removed from the foil contacts prior to soldering. You can use foil tape to tape it to the bottom OUTSIDE of the cage and you will need a rheostat (dimmer switch).
