  • [Purchasing] Breeder recommendations

Hi, I'm new to the site and my name is Jeff. I live in Western North Carolina and am looking for a good source for baby or young male normal RTB with clean markings and good temperament. It's been about 8 years since I've owned a Boa and I recently acquired a Ball Python. Becoming a snake owner again has made me realize how much I miss my Boa. I've been checking craigslist and would be willing to adopt or rescue but other than that, the only "mom & pop" shop around me is overpriced and the place is filthy. What breeders are recommended. Thanks

Thanks for the welcome. As I've stated, it's been awhile since I've owned a Boa. I became a bit discouraged and disheartened when I lost my last one to a parasite infection. She was such a sweet snake and won over a lot of friends. I had friends come to the house just to hang out with her. She was eating like a champ but not growing and that should've been a red light to me but for some reason it wasn't. This site seems like a great resource

Yup, there are plenty of people who are willing to help on here and that can offer a wealth of knowledge.

It's more than a resource, it's family and it's growing in leaps and bounds!

Here is this year's thread on just one of our "family get-togethers"
