[General Care] Where on earth is the best place for the stat probe to be situated !??

I've just setup a new Boa enclosure and had it running great for a while but as soon as I've added the Boa today the heat light on the Microclimate B2 pulse stat has been staying on more much longer ... I glued the probe in place on the viv floor , right in the middle of the warm end and directly under the ceramic heat source and this was working perfectly UNTIL the Boa lies on the probe which must play havoc with the stat temp readings causing it to assume that the heat needs to be on for longer !!??

Just wondering wether to put the probe on the end wall about 5" up off the floor ( so the Boa doesn't cover it if it lies next to the end panel .

That is the correct way to rectify the issue.
