My suriname has a slightly noticeable bulge... The bulge is after the vent (start of the tail) if you consider snake head as a front. It is under year old. Is it the hemipene? Can I see the vent-start of tail photo for your male boa (possibly suriname and young)?

That's where the hemipenes are located...I'm just guessing (& not seeing your snake!), but it could be an abscess/infection...possibly an issue with the substrate (what are you keeping him on?).Comment
