[Behavior] "Twitching"

So about 3 weeks ago I noticed one of my albinos "twitching" a bit. It looked almost like heavy breathing. I was worried but knew that she was due soon and decided to wait a couple days. 2 days later, bam!!! she popped out 6 babies and has been perfect since. I don't know if this is usual, but I've never noticed it before. Well, here we are and another one of my snakes has stated this "twitching" again. And once again this one is due very soon. Is this a normal thing or is there something else I should be checking in on? Any one else seen this? Thanks.

Are you sure you're not seeing contractions?

So contractions are what I'm thinking, I may have just never noticed them before. It's now been three days and nothing. Does anyone else have comments on "indicators" of impending birth? I'm relatively new to breeding so I'm just starting to pick up on the little clues.
