  • [Water] waterbowls for baby boas?

Im trying to use these cheap plastic disposable waterbowls but they get tipped over EVERYTIME! what do YOU guys use for waterbowls for newborn boas? Keep in mind mine are being housed in 6 qt tubs in a rack system. THANKS IN ADVANCE! really don't want to spend $200 on a bunch of 4" cavy bowls.

Can you find deli cups that are just tall enough for the baby's to access and not be able to tip over in the tub. Jeff Ronne has a YouTube video demonstrating what he uses. His videos are very informative, not to mention he is a hilarious guy!!!

A deli cup that is just shy of being as deep as your tub. Once the tub is slid in the deli cup can't tip over.

Deli cups are the clear plastic cups that you get at you local grocery store deli when you get potato salad, cole slaw, or your favorite side dish.

Check out this video. It's a feeding video, but he shows how to use the deli cup and it not tip over.

My local "Dollar Store" sells a 4-pack of round plastic cups that are too tall to tip in a rack-style set-up. So for me, it's $10 for 40 water dishes that can't be tipped over.

Was going to ask where you are located. I have a ton of extra deli cups used for shows, sometimes shipping, and sometimes water bowls.

Glad you got things sorted out, though.

I use these: Better Homes and Gardens Small Round Ramekins, White, Set of 6 - Walmart.com

Plus, if you have a local thrift store, scout them occasionally. You can usually find these type of hard to tip bowls there for a few cents each!

Dollar Tree sells both plastic and melamine dog and cat food/water bowls for... $1 each. They are wider at the base than the top and I've never had one get tipped over. Occasionally they do overflow if the snake climbs into it, but that will be a problem with any bowl.

Also I'm not sure if they were mismarked but I got their smallest melamine bowls 2 for $1 when I bought them a few weeks ago.

I use small candlelightholders made of glass. Heavy with a wide bottom and works great.
