Hello everyone!
Well I must say, I took on a project for school and for my special study. About 2 months ago I got a hold to two amazon tree boas, they are not sexed. So I can't tell you who is who and I believe they a garden phase as well. I've been housing them together, now before you get down my throat about housing together. Please keep in mind, it's a project lol.. OK days I'm at work I setup a video camera, I monitor behavior, stress levels & feeding levels. Although these ATBs are very aggressive to me and love to bite me while trying to handle, as well as stray me with an very bad oder. Reminds me of a corn snake I use to have. I realize they don't like to bath but will drink water. Feeding rat pups on a weekly basis, although my research told me feeding should be every 3 weeks. But both are eating every Sunday & not yet refused a meal. Even in shed, they still ate. One day I tried giving the a bath and both snakes started flipping out, I got so scared I thought it killed then. So I never done it again. No handling time with then is about 20 mins at least 2-3 times a week and with a snake hook but they so fast I still get bite. My overall experience on this experience with ATBs is an adventure but no problems so far and they seen to be getting alone. No fights, no bitting each other but one will try to bully the other if he/she is still eating there meal. If they not laying on top of one another they are very active climbing on furniture inside there enclosure. I will post photos of the setup.
