I'm not sure where to post this so please redirect me. I found a nice sharp albino Jungle on kingsnake posted by what seems to be a reputable breeder. I have found no complaints on the internet and her Facebook page has 4.2k likes with tons of pictures of all her reptiles. I emailed her and discussed the snake and price and ended up sending her 900$ over paypal. She confirmed she got the payment on Oct 29th. That was the last email I got from her and have sent her multiple emails since with no reply. I know nothing happened to her since her Facebook is active so I'm asking y'all what is there I can do? Any way to get my money back? Or atleast get her banned from Kingsnake so this doesn't happen to anyone else? I'm really bummed that I wont be getting that beautiful snake but I'm also out 900 dollars. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Re: Scammed by reputable breeder. Help please!
Have you tried contacting her through Facebook? Sometimes emails don't go through and if that's the case, she may not know you sent them. Try that and then if you don't get an answer, then you know there is a definite problem. This time of year, it is getting too cold to ship to certain areas but that doesn't absolve someone from not replying to a buyer.
Try Facebook and let us know what happens please?http://berkeleyknebel.wix.com/mississippimorphs

Re: Scammed by reputable breeder. Help please!
With PayPal you have 45 days if it is linked to a bank account, and up to 540 days if linked to a credit card, to file a dispute if there is a problem. If you get close to the 45 days with no response from the seller despite contacts via email and Facebook, then file a dispute for "item not shipped". DON'T CLOSE IT UNTIL YOU EITHER HAVE THE SNAKE OR A REFUND since once a dispute is closed it can't be re-opened.

Re: Scammed by reputable breeder. Help please!
I've reached out to her business Facebook and her personal Facebook. I've emailed her at least 4 times since she last responded and she has yet to reply on either Facebook or email. I guess ill give her until the 40 day mark and then I will file the dispute like bcr suggested. I completely understand her being busy and taking a while to respond but 25 days is just bad customer service and very sketchy on her part. Thank you for the replies!

Re: Scammed by reputable breeder. Help please!
I sure hope that this turns out NOT to be what it seems to be, a scam. I'd be very uptight too, if this happened to me. I hope there is a good logical explanation for the lapse of communication...like they were in a
car accident or some sort of family emergency. You never know? Example: I just bought something on ebay (nothing big) & when the seller was doing errands (on the way to mail the pkg @ the P.O.) the item and
other things were stolen from their car. (*never leave things in plain sight in a vehicle, ESPECIALLY this time of year!) The seller let me know & refunded right away, & I've no doubt that was the truth. I hope your
seller responds soon & to your satisfaction. Fingers crossed! But if not, I'd file a claim as soon as the wait time has passed, you betcha!
