[Ambient Heat] Boa on cool end

My boa recently has been staying on her cool end. The hot spot is at its normal temperature, but ambient has fallen to about 75, though the hot spot is at 90. I plan on fixing this very soon with a radiant heat panel.
She seems just as active, well mannered, and eats like normal, but is more interested in her cool(er) end. Could this be because I recently moved? I'm in a new apartment where the temperature is cooler than it was at my last place, but it seems that she is choosing her cool end. Should I be concerned?

I would have to say that your boa knows best at what they prefer. However, what kind of hide do you have on the hot end? Maybe she is choosing security over temperature. OR she just prefers that temperature. I don't think there is any need to worry if he is acting normal and eating.

She's not a very big girl yet, more medium sized, so she's in a rack. I don't have her in a hide, but this doesn't seem to really hinder her. I am, however, moving her into a boaphile 421D this spring! Other than favoring the cool end since the move she's doing fine.
I suppose I'm just worried, as the new place is a basement unit and pretty chilly sometimes! Her enclosure is stable though

As long as you give her a correct hot and cool side, I wouldn't worry. They know what they want. My 6ft BCI girl bounces from cool side to hot side a few times a day. Usually she spends a lot of time on the hot side for a few days after a large rat, then most of the time on the cool side. She just has 1 hide which she pushes around where she wants and usually only uses it when she is shedding. I do have her in a Pro-Line cage though with a RHP, not a rack.
