Are these invisible to boas? Can I use them for night time heat if necessary?

Seeing as infrared is thermal, they will see it. I'm not sure what they will see it as though.

Belly heat and a thermostat should be all that's needed. Once you start putting bulbs of any type in a snake enclosure, you will start to have humidity issues. Best to stay away from bulbs.
