  • feeding times?

i'm wondering how often you guys think a 2 ft 8 month red tail should be eating, ive seen a lot of opinions online ranging from twice a week to twice a month, so i'd really appreciate any kind of feedback, thanks!

    Re: feeding times?

I moved your thread from the New Members sub-forum to the Feeding Issues sub-forum, so that hopefully you will get a few more responses.

I would fee a boa that age/size one appropriately sized prey item approximately every 7-10 days.

Also, if you have not already, feel free to check out the Ultimate Care Guide articles at the following link:

        Re: feeding times?

I just picked up an EBV Redgroup/Burke Liptick sunglow girl who is also 2' and 10 months old and the breeder was feeding her every 10 days. I bumped her up to every 7 days though until she gets to about 1.5 years. Then I figure i'll switch her to every 2 weeks.
