scale damage?

My boa has some raised scales on the side of her body. You even feel it when you rub your fingers on them. It feels rough compared to the other parts which feel smooth. I know she likes to bury herself under a piece of branch I have in her cage. I'm almost positive thats where she damaged her scales. I've since taken the branch out of the cage. Is this something to worry about?

NOPE.. I don't think ya really have anyhting to worry about. A lot of snakes do this to themselves and with sheds it will go back usually to what the scales were like before np.

I know if my boa like to clime under a log I would not take it out of the cage.... You boa is bound to do lil' stuff like this I bet if you left the log in it would not happen all the time...
