MITES!! HELP!!!

Well I was holding my snakes today and yikes guess what I found. I have no clue how to treat mites so any help please!! I have heard some one on the site say provent a mite, but is that safe to use directly on snakes? or is it strictly for the cage? I am pretty sure they are mites little black things crawling all over them dangit. I am going to order the provent a mite, but is there anything else i need to get?

better order some provent-a-mite, this stuff works, follow the instructions on the can to the letter. Treat your tank once a month and you'll never have mites again.

 It considerably more expensive at pet stores, but call around and see if any pet stores have  it, and then order your regular stock from pro-products, directly. You only have to treat once a month, its great.
     Clay likes the stuff, and many people use it routinely even when they don't see mites to prevent the spread of disease from one reptile to another.

them mites either came on your snakes, or with the substrate your using or your feeding fresh killed or worse live.,, tell me it aint sooo... :P :-[

provent-a-mite will get red of the mites in the tank and on the snake... Don't use it on the snake but just put the snake in on pre dried treated pieces of new's paper and leave for a couple day's put some more in and leave for a couple day's... after this return to normal substrate and use provent-a-mite to treat it.. Repeat the last step of the process for the rest of the rep.'s life....lol
