On my adult corn i noticed on the side of her there are 3 brownish, blackish scales, I am pretty sure its scale rott but I dont know why, i never mist her cage cause she has always shed fine, the only water is in the bowl. If it is scale rott how I fix it.

Re: Scale Rott??????
Hey I dont know how she could have gottin scale rott, i never mist her cage and it is pretty clean. She shares a cage with my (much smaller ) other corn but I dont think that caused it. Right now I am putting "Bacitracin" on its. Its an antibacterial thang for like cuts and scrapes and stuff like that. Could it be something else besides scale rott, i dont have a pic so what you think Clay? And if it is how long does it take to kill it?

Re: Scale Rott??????
I herd of a guy that said his Python soked and was kinda wet when it went in to it's hidi. box. After staing in the box for like 3 day's a couple time's.. It caused a mild case of scale rott... I guess it stayed moist in there because it was a plastic box and the snake layed on the moist corner of it, Kinda making a seal that did not let it evaperate.... I have seen this with my boa once.. I misted his cage and then came back like 5-6 hours latter and he still had a puddle inbetween him and the wall of the cage... Like a ****.
Also if you use some thing other then new's paper it is kinda hard to see that the substrate is moist around the bowl... Other then that I don't know...
I hope I could help..
