  • MY BOA HAS GREY SOFT POOP?

My baby redtail has been pooping grey soft poop. Is he dehydrated? I have tried to get him to drink water but he doesn't seem to want to. Is this cause for a vet visit? Should I wait a week? Also Head pointing straight up? Is this basking? I am almost sure it is not a RI. There is no bubbles or fluid in mouth. No wheezing etc. Any advice will be much appreciated. I am also worried about ventilation how much is too much?

Re: MY BOA HAS GREY SOFT POOP?

    Scotty,

I am a firm believer that all new pets, snakes or otherwise, should have a vet visit and fecal test. I believe that when you but a new animal, you not only need the money for the cost of the animal, supplies, food and etc..but money for a vet visit as well. There are many tragedies that can be avoided from a simple fecal test.
