[Skin] strange scale question....

While handling my sunglow male last night, I noticed this strange scale. Any clue what it is? It feels dry and almost scab like, but didn't seem to bother him at all when I touched or poked it. No other issues at all with him. He is in a Animal Plastics T8. Warm side hovers between 86-88 and cold side stays around 78-80

Maybe retained skin?

not a retained skin. It's a new thing. Still not sure what it is. I've been giving him baths and i'm hoping it'll be gone when he sheds. None of my other animals have this, so i doubt it's mites.....

I think mines a scab. My cat appeared from under a chair and got us.

Any chance for scabs? Fungus? What's the husbandry like?
