  • Should the US Government Ban Pythons? PLEASE VOTE!

US Fish & Wildlife Service is considering a BAN on many pythons and boas that would add them to the Injurious Wildlife list of the Lacey Act. A move that would criminalize the actions of millions of American citizens and destroy tens of thousands of small businesses. Please participate in this easy poll to weigh in on this issue. If you don't believe pythons should be banned VOTE NO!

Voted no as well, I mean really... most of these species can't even survive in the majority of the united states if released into the wild, and innocents that do involve them harming people significantly, or killing a person, is generally the fault of the keeper in the first place. More people are killed by dogs, horses, and other furry animals a year than there are by large snakes, why isn't the government trying to ban those animals from being kept as pets? Making business, breeders, and collectors suffer for the actions of a few isn't right and I just can't see something like this actually passing. (same with the sopa)
