funny story, I was cleaning nasties last night in my females tank and in the corner of my eye ran by a 1/2 in bug fast as a blink and disappeared. I seached and searched throug the aspen. one silverfish found. grabbed it and the aspen and the decorations and news paper and bleached solutioned the heck out of everything never thoght I d worry about a silverfish buggin, eatin. reproducin, or whatever they do. just wanted to share.

Insects can, and will, get into everything. Springtails are a common insect to be found in mulch bedding - for example.
Good call on washing down the cage with bleach. It's not likely the Silverfish would have bothered your boa, but I don't think it's wise to tolerate even a non-offensive intruder. -

yeah she was due for a cleaning anyway but still I m always looking for stuff to clean and what a surprise thought it was a BIG mite haha.Comment
