I've only ever used Lamps or UTH on glass... But someone told me you can use Flexwatt tape on wood enclosures, it this true? The reason I am asking is that I have built a stacked cage. 2 cages 4'x2' on top eachother and i dont know how to heat them. I have a JCP and a Argentine Boa waiting to get in their new enclosures. I dont want to use lamps, so i need another way to heat these cages.

this post gives great info on how to use it,cost,etc.. you can use it on wood..just make sure you have a thermostat..i think the draw back on using it is the wiring. tards like me would burn my house down lol... me and elec dont get along well... -

Oh the outside of the cage. It can get way too hot for the inside of the tank. Be sure to get a thermostat to regulate the heat.Comment
