Rocky is about 2 ft and I have him in a 40 gallon tank. I was told hes good for another half a foot. I seen an ebook on making tanks bc I cant find any online that good and this guy will probably be huge. Does anyone know of any good companies that have nice tanks or should I just attempt to make one?

Re: tank
You can check out the DIY section of the forum here or I recommend checking out Boaphile Plastics -
Re: tank
if you don't want to build your own then you can get a boaphile, proline, animal plastics, etc type of enclosure. These plastic enlocures are awesome. They are a lot lighter and easier than wooden or melamine, and if you have multiple snakes they stack really well. But you can build a melamine or wooden enclosure if you want. But you're going to be looking at 80 lbs or more per cage. and you'll typically spend about the same amount building as you would buying a plastics. I have 2 diy cages and they can sometimes be more of a pain then my 1 plastic enlosure.Comment

Re: tank
Actually you can get a plastic cage, and yes it's a very easy clean but I also like to work with my hands as well. Building a cage is totally up to you, it maybe a pain in the butt to clean but it also can be a fun project as well. You should YouTube diy cage projects just so you can get and ideal of what you want and what you looking for. Getting the right equipment can be pricey tho.sigpicJrock23Comment

Re: tank
Ive read some of the diy threads and read what everyone said and some of the boaphiles. I was looking into boaphile before I even joined here. Boaphile seems a lot more easier and probably would be better bc the rain going on now. Va never gets snow. So I'd have a mud tankComment
