  • So you want CHE Cover's??

    Hi,
there's been some interest in where I found them che' cover for my melanine cage
      here you go.

[ftp=ftp://http://www.showcasecages.com/options_page.htm]http://www.showcasecages.com/options_page.htm[/ftp]Light Guards protect your animals from hot bulbs and CHE"S they can be used in any size  cage. They are constructed of PVC-coated ridged wire mesh and mount directly to the ceiling of the cage covering both the bulb socket and the bulb. A latched flip-down door opens for easy bulb changes. One light guard is required  for each socket.

they have some neat cage too the cage above was from another builder who no longer sells cage but didn't offer a light/che cover, so I went to showcase cages for the che covers.

      HI,
When buying outlets be sure they are cermaic and rated higher than the actual use. Mine came from a hard ware store and are used for garage lights that may be accidentally on over nite.
Che's are very hot when on and plastic socket have been known to melt many of the alumn type in pet stores have plastic outlets, the way you can tell is most of the cermaic ones have heavy cords and no on and off switch due to the high load. Many hard ware stores sell painter light holders that are ceramic and about 1/4 the cost of a petstore item
