Re: My DIY enclosure build
What are the dimensions? 6x2x2?
Looks like it will be a solid cage I look forward to seeing this complete and will be following the updates
Are you going to be using heat panels? I have one currently that has been running for about a month and its is holding temperature with ease, wonderful heat source. -
Re: My DIY enclosure build
It's 5x2x3. I will be using heat panels, leds for viewing light, a waterfall, rock wall, and a zoomed hygrotherm as a thermostat/humidity controller (to be plugged into the waterfall). I'm also lining the bottom with plexi and using a kitty pan as a water dish. (One will be built in to the plexi, the other stacked on top for easy cleanup). Also will be using sliding glass doors and the gap on the back is going to have screening for ventilation. This enclosure will also double as an entertainment center.
We decided to go with 5 ft as it will be easier to move, also my snake already being a 2.5 year old male central and just barely 4 ft, I don't project him getting over 5-6 ft. At least he will have lots of climbing room [emoji4]

Re: My DIY enclosure build
Yea it's a little TV. There's no fancy speaker system or anything since its just in my room and I keep it quiet anyway. He's already right under it anyway. I suppose I could always wall mount the TV. I really just need the shelving for storage

Re: My DIY enclosure build
This is coming along great! I love the shelving you have going on in there, excellent idea!
I agree on wall mounting the tv. Or you can try it out before mounting it. If you notice a change in behavior then mount it to the wall.
Ill be watching your progressComment
