Because it is a deck box its made to sit on its bottom not side , so I made frame around the front and attached the box to it to keep it in shape . It worked out well though because I added the same frame at the rear and added a shelf on top were I put my sons corn snake inclosure . I also added rigid foam inside the lid/door to make it stiffer .

I believe this box started life as a135 gallon deck box .
