The only possible negative I can see is that it is a two in one unit so If one part breaks most likely both will go. I just got one of the Honeywell warm mist humidifiers (they have a few models) and it is great. I'm using mostly glass right now with one boa in a tub and when the humidifier is on the hygrometer will not drop below 50, even with the tops off the tanks for two hours. It also bumps the temp of the room a little because it is a warm mist model. If you can get a separate heat and humidifier I would go that way, but as long as it doesn't break on you I think it's certainly worth it to grab the one youre looking at.
i used a humidifyer when i kept chameleons as i live in ny and it is tough to keep the humidity in the screen cage they require. i left it set a bit too high one day and came home to condensation forming on my white ceiling. well at the time it seemed like a great idea to use a mop to dry the ceiling. needless to say where i wiped up looked alot cleaner and i wound up having to repaint the whole ceiling....then the rest of the room. don't be like me...
