Has anyone here shipped a larger boa "5 year old". She is about 6 feet long. How safe is it?

Re: Shipping Boas
I don't know how safe it is, all I know is that it has been done before. Pillow case, wadded up newspaper for padding, styrofoam on 6 sides, heat pack, air holes, "Live animal -- This side up" on 5 sides. I think that is what would be needed to make it safe, but I have never done anything like that before. I probably wouldn't put "Live reptile" unless it is required by law because people are scared of reptiles for strange reasons... If you're allowed to only put "Live animal" that should hopefully have people treat it better.

Re: Shipping Boas
Heat pack only if shipping in too cold temps.

Re: Shipping Boas
Follow the directions from Ship Your Reptiles and all should be fine. I received an adult Suriname and she was delivered perfectly. Of course, once I say that, Murphy will pop up his ugly head.http://berkeleyknebel.wix.com/mississippimorphs

Thank you all so much for the advise. I have talked the folks at S Y R, I just needed to hear it from experienced people.
