I did some ivestigating and found all the EPA numbers and ingredients off all these products.

Prevent-a-mite:
If anybody has any information and/or websites that include information, it would be helpful.

Sawyers tick spray:
Active ingredient: Permethrin 0.50%; other ingredients 99.5%

Does anybody have any information on whether Repel Permanone would be a good substitute for PAM or SAWYERS based on the information that I put in the last post? Or do you suggest that I not use it. From what I've read thus far, it seems the same. But I don't want to make any ***-umtions!!! And make the same mistake I made last time.

EPA reg #'s are NOT the same for those products at all from what you posted here.

See how the beginning is the same ? That's where it all falls under hehe.

Don't worry about it, I just wanted your opinion on the stuff. I was hoping that if I could get that one, It would make things easier. I was just waiting to hear your opinion, and if you said that it was not the same and would not work, I'd order it on-line from the website. I use REPEL most of the time. It seems to work well for me. Keeps out the mites and I have never had any ill effects to boids, colubrids, elapids, or pit vipers. And pit vipers are actually pretty fragile. At $3 a can for my REPEL, I think I will stick to it.
