Clay, I have a friend here at work who links to this forum using the redtailboas.com/forum link. I use the http://www.redtailboas.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl link, the old original link. Well, any posts or PM's that he posts or sends while on that site, does not post on the original site. Is the old site not connecting to the new one anylonger? Just thought you should probably know!!!! Plus I tried to log in on that site and it keeps telling me that my password is incorrect, which I know I'm typing it correctly.

And then somtimes it only load part of the forum like the first five areas and then the rest like the lizard one down don't load and I have to hit refresh...

Re: Clay, another problem with the new server
Trust me TC it's not just a shortcut. It's actually a totally different site!! Try going to your homepage, clearing out all your cache, and your internet history, then loading up the redtailboas.com/forum You'll notice that it is an entirely differnt page. The icons at the beginning of each post are different, the icons at the beginning of your name, such as your snake and my dragon are larger. Quite a bit is different. But if you don't clear out your cache and history first, it'll take you right back to this page.

Re: Clay, another problem with the new server
Sorry folks,
I was completely away from the internet this weekend, off doing family things ;
The site you have stumbled across is the latest version of the YABB forum software, and it is written in a completely different language and is much faster and much easier on the hosting servers cpu and memory.
What this means is that when I am confident in the functionality of the new software, the entire forum will be moved to the new software...
Right now it is just for testing purposes
You will notice that the title is TESTING forum and that the warning also tells you that any posting made will be lost.
If you want to test the new software, then go right a head, but just don't expect it to remain...
I will make the transition as soon as I feel confident in the new changes...To gain knowledge is good, but to share knowledge is wise
-Best Regards
