Hi all,
This was not the greatest week, but I was thinking maybe some of you folks may be able to help with this.
Some may know I go to local school classes K-5th grade and show them some snakes, talk to them about them, basically education in a raw sence. Over the past two years doing this I have helped some kids and some parents get over their fear of snakes. Basically I take a couple of relaxed boas in, some balls, some king snakes, and my Blue beauty snake. The kids ask tons of questions, some get to hold their first snake and I try to teach them about local snakes, mostly the ones they should never touch. Besides the snakes I bring in three posters of the snakes they should never touch some of my smaller snake sheds and a 22 foot snake shed from an retic python. Problem is someone helped them self to this box and I need to replace these items. If anyone has them laying around, or knows where I can get them cheap I would appreciate it, and I know the kids will. I do this for fun and to share my love of snakes with the next generation of snake owners, so my budget is nill and out of pocket.
I could use the following..
Three posters (one of each snake)
Northern Copperhead ---Agkistrodon contortrix mokasen
Eastern Massasauga ---Sistrurus c. catenatus
Timber Rattlesnake ---Crotalus horridus
Snake sheds. I would love to replace the 22 footer, but any sizes will be appreciated. With the smaller sheds I give them out.
Like I said it would be appreciated.
