I may not be around much ol the next couple of day

I have one of them lovely MAJOR migraines going on atm. This makes it a MAJOR problem for using a pc..the monitor kills my eyes which of course sets the migraine off further too. Actually wearing sunglasses so I can look at the moitor right now even..LOL
Got this one going well enough that I just spent like a day at the hospital with them trying to bring it down some with better meds than I have on hand here. So until this goes away completely.. I won't be around much at all. Hopefully that'll be soon though..this has been for three days now..UGH

sorry you don't feel better lori, i hope you get better soon, all you need is some rest s2.gif, and relaxation cwm15.gif. any way i have migranes as well and i have a prescription of ketoprofen that works wonderfully. just something you might want to check out.

Do I need to send an emergency medical kit? I can fill it up with migrane medicine, Jolt Cola, Mountain Dew, 2 doctors (2 of my brothers), super strong coffee, pure caffeine tablets, a nurse, a maid, a babysitter, a cage cleaner, a rat feeder, etc etc..

How can I help? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Well I now know just why I had..yes HAD the migraine.. Got rid of it to now.. BUT only in exchange for other stuff. ugh. I have seen more of the local hospital than i care to in the last week's time frame. Prolly still not done to I am sure now.
Turns out the migraine was due to a MAJOR infection that I have with my kidney..UGH. Once they finally took into account what I kept telling them they ran the right tests to figure that out. Heck that only took a few visits for that to be done..lol BUT Of course the Dr. I saw who was able to finally figure that out didn't do all that until he did an LP [ Lumbar Puncture aka spinal tap] and got negative results. His thoughts were that I had meneningigits. DUH. The two are not compatable in symptoms..least not the symptoms I presented with they are not lol. Course while doing the dang LP he gave me a spinal headache. [ I'd rather have a dang migraine now that I know what those ones are like lol Never thought there was a worse type, till now.]
I So I had to have what's called a blood patch for the LP site done today in the or and also had a stent placement for the kidney done while they were at it in the or as well. They even tossed me outta the door their like an hour after they finished lol. I just got home a bit ago. I won't be round much the next couple days I don't think due to all of this. I'll try to check in and run through some posts as I can though. If there someth9ing ya really want me to hit upon for ya..just toss the link to it in my pm and I'll make sure that I get to it when I get ol np for ya .

I feel for ya with the spinal tap thing. My fiacee had to have a spinal tap to help determine the cause of her stroke, and she said that it was the worse pain she ever went through!!!!!! :'( Good luck with everything and I hope you start to feel better!!!!!! ;D

Well any ways... I can feel your pain... My head did stop hurting for like a week after the spinal tap... They also bursed some of the stuff in side there when they did mine...

Like I said.. I'll be offline more than ol for awhile. Been going back and forth with medical recently still. The infection in my kidney is ecoli..UGH. I have been there before though and know pretty much what to expect from it also at this point. Finally got the headaches down to a smaller level also..but drugged out most the time in order to do that too..arghh. Got rid of the spinal headache to only find that I still have the migraine one going on some.
Now after the last trip to the local hospital..I'm changing my medical to the Boston area hospitals now. Locally they went and gave me dang meds that I am allergic to and had such written all over my records and had told them also. The nurse said it didn't have anything that I had listed off in the med...turned out that it did though. She found that out really fast when she placed it into my iv line hehe What fun ! lol
So I'll go hit some posts now on the forums here..
