i have privacy control on my phone if the number is blocked they have to unblock it to get through so i can see who it is if its unknown they get a message saying if its a telemarketer take down some code and dont call back since ive gotten that i havent gotten one call from telemarketers. ive had it about 6 months now. my mom registered at the donotcall.gov site she said you can even register your cell phone numbers too but i though that telemarketers calling your cell was against the law already because cell numbers arent listed

Same w/ me redtailedmel. It's very seldom something gets past that. Well worth the ten bucks a month. It even stops prankers who try the *69 junk.

Yeah I live in Missouri & they started a No Call list awhile back, & since signing I have had no telemarketing calls b3.gif

Now if they could just come up with a way to stop recieving Spam mail.

Hey Viper.

You need a redtailboas.net email account. It does use a spamassasin software to at least mark and redirect email that scores a high rating as **SPAM**

I actually have an inbox labeled SPAM and all these emails go into that box, and I browse it briefly to see if any wanted email was "caught".

I feel so offened ...I do telemarketing for a living...I hate those do not call lists...Just kidding...I only do B2B work calling executives....not someone at home while they are eating dinner..LOL.. I hate those annoying phone calls too....B2C telemarketers make us look bad..LOL. How is that DO NOt Call thing working out..I may add myself

LOL! You know what I do to them? I say "Hang on a sec, do you hear that?" and they go, "what?" or "huh?"...then I put the receiver to my mouth and SCREAM at the top of my lungs and hang up. LOL! I know, I know...I'm going somewhere hot for it, but it's fun...and they never call a second time...LOL...

I just signed up for the do not call thing. Keep getting annoying calls from MCI. Last time I got really ticked and yelled at the woman. The whole time she was trying to tell me about their "great" service! LMBO!!!!

I dont like those calls. And if your told no TWICE, you deserve whatever you get when you call back LOL

ya'll have the wrong attitude when it comes to telemarketers my wife and I have this little game .It is called who can keep them on the phone the longest 47 mins is My personal best. Just get silly like if they are giving away a trip ask if you can bring your girlfriend.but stress the inportance of not sending Anything to your house cause you dont want your wife to find out it is great fun for all involved and after awhile they will say that they have too go then you need to get there supervisor on the phone try it you'll like it. Bet you cant beat 47 mins

I kinda like the calls...
noone ever calls me...
it's the only human interaction I get...
The phone rings... I am on it...
I ask how moms doing...
If she has gotten over the spastic colon...
how the little sisters doing...
if shock therapy has helped with her problem...
If dad still has the chipper that took his poodle and left arm....
how many cars they have and if being on blocks improves gas mileage...

And if that doesn't work, I scream , away from the phone, 'SHUT UP! SHUT UP NOW!!!' light an M80, let it pop and get back to the phone freaking out and begging them not to call the police this time
