***Forum Troubles*** Important

Well unless you have lived in a hideaway with your boa lately, you know that this forum is having troubles. A lot of errors have popped up and it causes us to reload the page a lot.

Just be aware that I am working on this as much as I possibly can. I am trying several things, so you may see weird things happen, such as you have to re-login to the forum.

Please help me by letting me know here on this post if it appears to be getting better or worse.

This is the only way I can tell if progress is being made.

Changes have been made recently so start right now by noticing the behavior of the forum. Not yesterday or last week.

I will make every effort to correct the problem even if I have to move hosting servers to see if that is where the problem lies.

Clay i am getting an awful lot of internal server error 500's just to let u know and it is taking like 5 min for me to load a thread to post ...

Lee, are you getting what appears to be a redtailboas error 500 page with options to email me etc etc

or

are you getting a plain white page with the error 500?

I am getting the plain white screen with error 500, and pages are also taking like 5 minutes to load for me. But I really appreciate Clay taking the time to try and fix the forum, it is greatly appreciated! ;D

Hey guys. I do get the server 500 errors but I do not have any posts that take longer than 10 secs to load.

Can you please give me a couple of links of the posts that take 5 minutes to load. They main contain some of the problems.

8)Hey Clay thanks sooooo much for helping... Im not having anymore probs with posts loading just been getting the error 500 page the one where i can e-mail you ect. ect. ect. And yes i did have to re login.. no biggy though.... ;D

Okay thanks Cuda, the 500 errors are something I think I can get worked out.

But the extremely slow loading is what I need to get narrowed down, so please, anyone that finds a slow loading post, forward the post link to me if it takes longer than 30 seconds to load a page.

I am getting both internal server errors 500, the one with just a white page and the one with the options to e-mail you. I have found a couple of topics I just plain can't get into and the page times out. The two I can think of off the top of my head that I just tried is 1: in the Critters, critters, critters forum, Pix of my cockroachs. 2: under the misc forum, a new forum Idea thread. Those both time out and I can't get into either of them. I'm sure there are more, but those are the only two I can think of right now.

Also, why is it that when I load up the main forum or any of the threads, I only get half the page up, or I get that Internal server error 500? I mean, I can just refresh and the whole page will appear, but I was just wondering if you, Clay, or anyone else was experiencing that.

yea seems to best bet is to use quick replys.. but its still taking a few mins to load topics..

Well I am getting the 500 and stuff but the one post I can not get to load with fiber optic cable line with a huge server net work it is running off of at work... which should make it faster then any computer out there and in a hour it is still not able to load the post about tear. the one that is like 80 posts....
That is my major and well only problem...

ok next problem...it wont let me login to chat...brings up the password box and wont let me put/type in my password...not sure if any 1 esle is having this problem 2...
