    ok here goes my venting....
    i order from rodent pro all the time and the ups man never has a problem with my dog( who cant even get to him) well for some reason today he was scared to enter my yard and marked my delivery as no one is home to accept, thats cool somewhat but to get my rats and make sure they are still froze when i get them i had to drive 2 and a half hours round trip to freaking ARKANSAS!!!!!!!!!! ok so by then im wayyyy ticked i get there and my box looks like it was in the middle of the arena for a dang demolition derby grrrrr i get it home and luckily it was stiff all froze but there was not a drop of dry ice!!!!!! my hubby was home and said he never even seen the guy come in the yard honk or anything! what a crock! if they had delivered tomorrow like they wanted too my rats would have all had to go in the trash with all this 3 digit texas heat! all in all it cost me 20 bucks in gas to go get them and the whole order before shipping was 14 bucks!!!!! ok im done venting now i just got home and im pooped LOL ! rule number one NEVER NEVER trust the UPS guy!!!

    That bites Mel... Glad you were able to save the package before it was too late...

    One place I lived had a UPS guy like that.. Have to say the UPS/Airborne and FedEx guys local here are great.. They know the importance of my packages, when they pick up they pull up beep and start sorting their next few deliverys, that way if I am shipping an animal I can package them then and not hours before..

    But like I said I had guys like that in my last place... Hope it never happens again.. Did you put a written complaint in? It helps..

      no i sure didnt but now that you mentioned it i might just have to do that (at least if anything about the box being in such crappy shape). i have decided that when rodent pro sends me my tracking number im gonna call ups and tell them ok if hes scared of the dog come after 2pm and ill be sitting outside no sooner if hes a scaredy cat!

        LOL.. now remember complaints in email don't carry much weight.. Type it up and mail it.. They will contact you..

            I had a similiar problem. My last order was suppose to arrive July 3rd and they didn't get here until July 6th. Well, imagine that, they were all thawed and starting to smell. I didn't even go through UPS, I just emailed Kevin and told him what had happened. He didn't even ask me for a picture or proof, just got me a new order and I received it in like three days. Talk about great customer service. But since your order was caused by UPS and they were still frozen, I don't see a cause to go through Kevin like I did. Anyway, just thought I would let you know as if they did thaw and were ruined and UPS wouldn't do anything about it, to contact Kevin.

              I always thought you needed to get them atleast 2nd day to be safe.. But I never ordered frozen rats before..

                >I think the UPS guy either was too lazy to deliver to your house or forgot and was trying to make an excuse. Poor Mel........ Hope today goes better. :-\ :-*

                    thanks guys im just glad they were all still frozen. get this though when i got there they told me that if i had not came to pick them up they would have sat on that guys truck all night and all day till delivery again imagine that. im going to send a complaint to ups about the damage to my box and that the guy never bothered to come to my door. but believe me next time i get a delivery, im gonna be sure to call that woman at the ups office i went to and make sure the delivery guy knows he better either leave my box for me or knock on the dang door. it comes no signature required he could have left it on my porch in the shade it would have been ok for the short time i was away

                      :-\ Sorry to here about that Mel, UPS drivers are a pain in my rear... I got one driver that likes to drop the box hold it the wrong way and just act like he dont care what hes doing.. Last time he was here i gave it to him good and told him a few things on my mind.. also called the company and told them they better get with the program and look into the way this driver delivers peoples packages.. Havent seen the guy since now theres a new guy doing this route..

                          > Your darn right i give it to um, these drivers are out to do a job that they get paid for and its hard to really reem them good when ya cant say whats in the box half the time.. But when its something i know i can talk about oh boy they really better listen or there not getting out my gate till they learn to have alot more respect for my packages.. We use to have this one old dude that would only come half way up the drive open the door and throw the package out on the ground.. well one day me and andrea was waitting for said such driver and when he came pulling up we came out of the woods and said hey you what in the world do you think your doing, and i looked at him and said you ever do this again and not come to my door you will for sure be out a job.. Well all said and done prob fixed.. LOL!!! You never know how bad your package has been handled behind UPS doors.. > I wont hesitate to call the company and complain big time..
