Well this week end I was in a pet store and I always go to look at the boa's of course. The store has a set up as follows the cage is aprox. 2'x2'x1.5' . In this little cage there were oh let me take a staba and say 7 to 8 boa's. About three of them were neonate's and there was one of two that was guessing between 6 and 10 months. Now here id the pissy part there were all so two in the same cage over 4' one was over 5'. Great looking snake for them to be in a pet store. I felt the glass COLD. So I asked to hold one. Weh I touched it it was like I was holdeing a a piece of ice. The substrate was a little moist. Looking a little closer I noticed that the largest boa has a bad RI. I asked the guy who was helping me if he knew what it was "NOPE" was the answer I got. Well I informed him I also told hime the boa needed to be removed from the cage. Then while he was doing this I noticed that the 4' also has a RI. The guyn informed me that he had taken it out the day befor and that the owner had put it back in the next morning. I have my wife going to see if the snakes are back in the cage today. My Question is this. If the snake is backe in the cage with the rest of the snake's what action can I take to get the snake out of that enviorment. If not given the proper medical attion the snakes are going to most likley die. I fsome one can help me that would be great.
