Doesn't matter what you are selling. Until you have come to an agreement, verbal or written, with someone, you can choose not to sell it. I wouldn't even justify the anger with a response. They are the ones that dropped the ball. If they were truely interested they would have blown up ur phone and email. That is what I did to Jimi about a month ago and I bought a 09 bino female from him. I'm sure I was a pain in the butt, but we got the deal done. Jimi is great btw.

yep, agreed, your cheap price was a limited time offer, no one jumped on it quick enough, oh well, their loss there are always mrons out there who try to get animals for dirt cheap and give you grief when you say no, lol. usually those are the same morons who dont take care of their animals, i dont let those kinds of people get me down just to make things clear though, when i sell something thats cheaper than normal, i say in the ad if its not paid for and picked up by sunday, for example, it goes back to regular price, period, that way no one can argue or complain about it.

They have no right to say anything until they have an interest, i.e. a deposit. You pull and ad, they have no ground to stand on.

Yep just tell them the truth it was a short term sale no one bit in the required time frame so there loss.
You needed money quick to make special purchase

Plus its your Boa , you can back out on any sale if you want

I must say also two weeks is a pretty short time frame as far as boa sales go,
especially in these times. So people get used to seeing
ads up for not just weeks but months.

They get to mull it over and talk about it with their partners etc...
So they think the Boa will be available almost indefinitely

Bottom line you snooze you loose!!

ditto here no money no sale verbal contracts can be broken and if the person doesn't realize that to bad i guess, again it is YOUR animal until the money is in your hand

Like any other business, no money, no deal. If the guy couldn't come up with the cash in the time frame you needed to sell the snake, TS on him. Next time if he wants in bad enough he'll pull the trigger, not ask his g/f.

My take on this is like any other business..."They" have a sale...it lasts a week...if you didn't buy it within the timeline and it goes back to regular price, that is THEIR loss! If people are giving you grief about it SB...then i would have to say that THOSE are the type of customers you want to stay AWAY from.

Yeah i gave people a good price, I even told a guy that i would do a payment plan he told me that he would have to talk it over with his girlfreind. He only contacted me back when i took the ad off a couple days later. If he would of send me a deposit the same day i would of sold him the boa...

What happen is they saw one of kingsnake, selling one from the same line for types of money now they want to pressure me into selling them mine for cheap. I am a person of my word. If we would have a made a solid deal or a deposit would being giving it would of being sold...

At the end of the day it is your animal to do what you want with, but if you did give someone a price and they are willing to pay immediately and not make you wait any longer I would say that it would be only fair to do so as you had already given them that price. Now for new people who are inquiring obviously this is not an issue. Just my 2 cents.

I had a snake for sale for about 2 weeks. I had no real bites on it. People saying they wanted but i would not hear back for them.I even told someone that i would do a payment plan on this ridicules low price i was selling it for. I priced this snake at a real good price so it would sell. I wanted to put some money together to pick up a blood boa. So after a couple of weeks i decided just to keep its worth alot more than what i was selling for and beacuse, It didnt work out how i had planed for a quick sell.
Now I am getting all this email from people telling me this is not how you do bussiness. How can you just back out!! I have not heard from some of this people in over a week. I am in the wrong here? For not wanting to sell it.
