  • Need Heat Packs

I'm going to be shipping some snakes in the next couple days and was wondering if there might be any place local I could pick some heat packs up worthy of shipping reptiles. Would pet stores have them? I would imagine they dont ship out only accept shipments? I know I could easlily find them online but would just rather try local so I dont have to wait lol.

    Any ideas??

    Re: Need Heat Packs

Any sporting goods store has heat packs that last for 12 hours or more. I don't see a pet store carrying something like that. I've always sold locally so you should ask one of the breeders what they do. Most of them just won't ship if the low temp is going to be below x degrees that day. That's the safest thing to do IMO, you don't want a snake showing up at a customer's house that froze to death during shipping. Bad for business.

we have bought heat packs, they have all kinds and sizes, at a camping/outdoors store near us called REI. not sure if you have one near you though :/ i would think any camping store would have some though.
