    Re: new homebrewer am I..

I usually brew beer a couple of times a year whenever time and money and everything is working out in my favor. I'm a sucker for hoppy beers, so they're usually either a pale ale, IPA, or ESB. Sometimes they come out amazing and sometimes not so much, so don't get discouraged if your first batch isn't what you hoped. I've never attempted a lager; they seem a bit more finicky because they need to be somewhat temperature controlled, but best of luck in your endeavors!

Awesome! Sounds yummy. My cousin used to do a lot of homebrews but usually California common.

    new homebrewer am I..:)

Just had to find another way to take up my already limited time, spend my limited money, and contribute to my drinking problem that i probably have, so what else, learn to homebrew first batch of Hopnob IPA is in fermentation and bubbling. Next batch is a German lager caller dortmunder, however i am going to try to lighten it up a tad and maybe add some chocolate to it. now i just have to wait 5-6 weeks for the first sip
